The building was designed by renowned architects from all around the world who made sure to incorporate designs from the medieval world into the structure of the center. The construction of the center was done keeping in mind the important place that it holds in the city.
Essentially, the center is instrumental in training and showcasing of new talent in the field of performing arts like drama or theatre or broad-way, dancing forms, music etc. besides these, a number of other art forms are also encouraged including crafting, pottery etc.
