
What You Should Know about South End neighbourhood in Charlotte
South End is a neighbourhood which is immediately south of Charlotte, N.C. It is considered as one among the three Municipal Service Districts in Charlotte, North Carolina. The development began in the 1850s with the first railroad of Charlotte connecting the queen city to Columbia and Charleston, SC.
The area got rich with the development of textile industries but the industrial area declined during 1970s and 80s. In 1990s, the old warehouse and mills were renovated to start restaurants, shops, design related industries, etc.
Some of the attractions of this neighbourhood include Woods on South and Price's coop Chicken.
