
Delighting Your Kids - Enjoy One Day at the Charlotte Nature Museum
Charlotte Nature Museum is one of the greatest family attractions owing to the kid friendly features and exhibits at the Nature Museum. A great amount of interactive education is one of the biggest attraction for kids as they avail the opportunity to learn about the flora and fauna of Piedmont area in the United States. Kids can visit many parts of the museum with equal delight if not more in some areas like the Beginnings.
"Beginnings" is a part of the Nature Museum where exhibits include a vast range of young animals, with their life cycles explained as the main information about them. A Creature Cavern Home is another great attraction. Here a Barred owl and a groundhog named Queen Charlotte are the main attractions.
Saturdays are a day to visit the place, although the gates open one hour earlier on weekdays at 9 am. Local parents also find Sunday a great day to visit as a pre-lunch outing, but only after the gates open at 12 noon. Gates close everyday at 5 pm. Festivals can be a wrong time to visit the place, especially if its 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas eve and day, New Years Day and Easter Sunday. Ticket prices to this museum are $6 for adults and children alike but free for members. You can pick up your tickets online, book them by phone or pick them up when you walk up there.
