Freedom Park
There are a lot of articles that one will find on the net which praise the efforts of the city administration of Charlotte, for enhancing the quality of living in the city by regulating the levels of pollution and maintaining adequate standards to ensure that the environment id fully protected at all the times. A lot of initiatives and steps have been taken to ensure that the air of the city remains clean, people, get clean water etc.
However, as mentioned frequently by people who travel to Charlotte, North Carolina, the most important achievement of the city has been the maintenance of the 'Freedom Park'. The park has come to be of a tourist attraction as well as a place of great interest by the Charlotte community. People are very much relieved as they finally have a place where they can relax and indulge into some quality time playing with their kids or meditating.
The park has been there for a long time now, but the city municipality has not take enough initiative to ensure that the standards of the park at maintained. It had developed a 'goose' problem sometime back due to lack of control over the rate at which the goose reproduce. Further, the city administration failed to have any control over the increasing water menace at the lake in the park.
But now, the problem has been duly solved due to a number of steps taken by the city administration. People living in Charlotte and traveling along side the park had to be the witness of a sore sight earlier, but now, that has changed too. The park has become a lot more scenic and beautiful as compared to what it used to be earlier.
