Charlotte Coliseum

Charlotte Coliseum was dedicated in August 1988 and was the largest arena in Charlotte specifically for basket ball. The Arena had seating arrangements for 24,000 people. The very first event at the Coliseum was marred by an accident that destroyed the score board costing several million dollars as well as the basket ball court below. Internal squabbles continued with its negative contribution to the Coliseum leading up to its final demolition in June 2007. To learn more about Charlotte Coliseum please visit our websites.
