How to drive to Charlotte Convention Center? I-77, I-85 and US Highway 74 are in the vicinity of the convention center. You can get to the center easily via those interstates. Visitors from all directions need to enter the convention center via two entrances. One is located on E. Martin Luther King Jr, Blvd. The other one lies on College Street.

Visitors driving from I-85 North - You need to drive along Brookshire Freeway and take Exit 36. Turn right onto the I-277 loop and take Exit 1E for Stonewall Street. Switch left onto Stonewall Street and continue to drive for 3 blocks. After crossing Brevard Street, you will see the Charlotte Convention Center on your right.

Driving from I-85 South - Visitors driving north from South of Charlotte via I-85 need to take Little Rock Road and use Exit 32. When coming to the bottom of the ramp, you need to turn right. Continue to turn right at the first traffic light. When reaching the 2nd traffic light, you need to turn left onto Wilkinson Boulevard. Drive along Wilkinson Boulevard and merge onto the 1-277 loop.
