Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden, one of the most beautiful gardens in the nation, is located on nearly 400 acres of marvelous landscape in Belmont, North Carolina. The botanical garden is a beautiful concoction of woodland and meadows.
The garden, founded by Daniel J. Stowe, has some of the most well maintained manicured gardens, fascinating fountains and a beautiful trail through the woodland.

The garden has fascinated people for years now. A multitude of visitors come to the garden daily for picnics, walks and spending time. The park is also a place of consequence for the photography enthusiasts, with the beautiful natural setting and lush green surrounding. Drinks and snacks are also available at the garden store and seating is available on the terrace and picnic tables.
To spend a pleasant morning or a peaceful evening, a stroll through the garden is the perfect thing to do. The trail through the woodlands, is one of the prettiest with nature singing lullabies in the form of chirping and quiet of the woods.
The artists bring their art supplies along to capture the nature in its purest form on their canvas according to their own perception. There are benches located all along the trail and throughout the gardens, where one can sit down and rest.
The garden is open seven days a week from 9a.m. To 5p.m. The admission fee is $12 for adults and $6 for the children. The senior citizens have to pay $11. The children under age 4 and garden members are admitted for free.
