Noda whose full name is North Davidson is a historic arts district of Charlotte. It is a center of live music venues, electric art galleries and local eateries. The neighborhood of this district was a textile community which is now transforming into demographic residence.
To reach there from uptown, you have to travel approximately towards north on N. Tryon Street and then turn right on 36th street. Then travel just half mile to reach Noda.
Tourists who have interest in art work can enjoy a lot in this street as they will get to see lots of art work in art galleries. On the first and third Friday of every month, so many artists show their original work in Noda's endless array of art galleries. Artists of every age put their exhibition in these galleries. Opening timings of these galleries are 6-9:30 p.m. On this day parking is free or you can park at neighborhood theatre by paying only $3.
You can also enjoy live music in this district as there are so many live music venues such as The Evening Muse, Wine up, Neighborhood Theater, etc. Musicians and vocalists of all generations present their live performance at these venues.
There is a good shopping center at Sunshine Daydreams located on N. Davidson Street in Noda. You can find funky jewelry, handmade goods, gifts, oil, candles, stickers, posters, etc.
