Marshall Park is the property of City of Charlotte and it is maintained and looked after by Landscape Management. This Charlotte Park was initially constructed in the year 1973 as part of an Urban Renewal project. The Marshall Park has been named after James B. Marshall, who was the city manager between the years 1935 to 1940. Marshall Park is located at 800 East Third Street. It is spread over 5.43 acres and is fringed by East Third Street, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Board of Education and First Baptist Church.
