The Freedom Park of Charlotte, North Carolina is about a 98 acre of land and is the Central Park of North Carolina. The Freedom Park is the home to about 7-acre or 28,000 m2 of lake situated at its center and is only 3 miles or 4.8 km away if you measure from the centre of the downtown area of Charlotte. The neighborhood of the central park is the historic Dilworth of Charlotte and the famous Myers Park.

This Charlotte public park is an excellent piece of nature situated in the middle of the city. Once you enter the park you will be thrilled to see four baseball diamonds with two well formed batting cages and a dozen of tennis courts.
