
Tourist Guide to Marshalls Park - A Peaceful Place to Relax in Downtown Charlotte
Marshall Park is located in the Downtown Charlotte which is owned by the city of Charlotte and managed by the Landscape Management. The park covers around 5.43 acres and it is bordered by the East Third Street.
The 1.24 acre of land is of pond and fountain. The pond is located in the center of the park. The park is available for rental for any types of events whether small or large. There is no proper parking facility for the Marshall Park. The park was named for James B Marshall who is the city manager from the year 1935 to 1940.

Inside the park you can find a statue of Martin Luther king, Jr. the other features of the Marshall Park include:

- Large Fountain
- Amphitheater
- Holocaust Memorial Monument.
The small Amphitheater in the park can be used for special events. The amphitheater can be available for a prior reservation only. The park's grassy and shaded spaces are rented for the special occasions and private parties.
From the park the visitors can have a beautiful view of Charlotte uptown skyline. Tourist form all around the city visits the park for the fantastic city view. The park possesses built-in power outlets in open space area for small events. The lake is surrounded by a concrete bottom, walking path and a bridge.
